Excel - Microsoft Excel Int Function

Description

The Excel Int function truncates a supplied number down to the nearest integer below. 
The syntax of the function is: 

INT( number ) 

Where the number argument is any numerical value. This can be supplied directly to the function, or it can be provided as a reference to a cell containing a number, or a value returned from another function or formula. 

Note that the Int function always rounds down. If you want to round to the nearest integer (up or down), you need to use the Round Function or the Mround Function.

The above examples show how the Int function always rounds down. Even with negative numbers, the function rounds to the integer below or equal to the supplied number argument.
