Excel - Microsoft Excel Sqrt Function

Description

The Excel Sqrt function calculates the positive square root of a supplied number.

The syntax of the function is :

SQRT( number )

where the number argument is a numerical value that you want to find the square root of. This can be supplied to the function either directly, as a value returned from another function, or as a reference to a cell containing a number.
