Microsoft Outlook 2016 – Tell Me to help find answers fast

Tell Me brings features and help topics to your fingertips, presents commands and options for everyday tasks, and saves you the time you would normally use to look for a specific function on the ribbon. Simply type what you want to do in the app using your own words, and then Tell Me will guide through the process as well as offer additional resources.

Using Tell Me to make tasks easier:
At the top of the Home ribbon, click the ‘Tell me what you want to do’ dialog box, and simply start typing what you’re looking for, then select the result that applies to your task.

Every keystroke refines the results, so that you can just choose a command (or more options) that you’re looking for.

Using Tell Me to enable the Reading Pane:
Type ‘reading’ in the box and Tell Me will bring back the Reading Pane command, now simply choose your Reading Pane options.

Using Tell Me to find Printing options:
Simply type ‘print’ and choose one of the options.
