Autofilter limitations
Autofilter is a very useful and easy facility to use but it has its limitations. The problem with Autofilters is that you can only filter on columns that are visible.For instance if you are viewing the standard project data then the over budget tasks cannot be shown by using the Autofilter. To display the over budget tasks the table would have to be changed to the cost table, before the variance column could be used to filter on.
If the criteria has to be applied on more than one field then the Boolean operator applied between the two parts of the criteria will always be AND to option is not available to change it to OR.
